I have been reading about “ web quest” and what
the author mention is that a “web quest” is an inquiry-oriented activity in
which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the web. Web
quest are designed to use the learners time well, to focus on using information
rather than looking for it, and support learners thinking at the levels of
analysis, synthesis and evaluation.

In conclusion I can mention that
this inquiry-oriented activity is really
good for students, because the learners make use of the tools that the internet
offers which make to the learner the wish of investigate about the topics.
A second point is that web quest
makes the students develop a critical thought, creativity, the imagination and
the skill of making decisions about things they get during the investigation.
This link is about the importance of teaching English
through the games.
